Would you like to be part of an “extraordinary” ministry?  

St. Philip Neri has an active ministry of Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, taking Communion to those in the hospital, those who are homebound, and those confined to Nursing Homes/Assisted Living situations, as well as serving at week-end Masses and other Liturgies.

This commitment involves taking Communion to Catholic patients in Immanuel Hospital on every Thursday – teams rotate every five to six weeks.

There are some requirements that must be met:

• You must meet the Archdiocesan Guidelines which consist of a training class and Mandation.
• You must be an active, registered member of St. Philip Neri Parish Community.
• You must be willing to bring Communion to the homebound and Nursing Home/Assisted Living parishioners.  
• You must have a flexible schedule.
